Business Networking: Lawrence Style

There are always business networking events in Kansas City.  With the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, the Kauffman Foundation and Think Big Partners hosting events every month, sometimes it's hard to decide which event to go to.  Just look at KC Source Link's calendar: most months are booked solid.

But what about Lawrence?  Our friendly neighbor to the West.  The home of Kansas University.  Surely there are networking events going on there.  But which ones are worth going to?

The Bioscience & Technology Business Center in Lawrence.
On Wednesday, May 18th, the Lawrence Technology Association is hosting its first LTA Business Showcase; a hands-on community forum and networking experience for all technological companies and businesses.  With guest speakers, table space, and tons of food and drinks, the LTA Business Showcase is a networking event in Lawrence worth going to!

Speakers include:
  • Deb Vignatelli of BrightEHR
  • Donna Johnson of Pinnacle Technology, Inc.
  • Rob Herrington of Horizon Analog, Inc.
  • Abel Leon of Computerized Assessments and Learning
  • John Ferguson of Garmin International
  • Elizabeth Rice of Propylon
The LTA Business Showcase will take place on May 18, 2011 from 5:00-7:00PM at the Bioscience & Technology Business Center (BTBC).  If you're interested in attending the LTA Business Showcase, be sure to contact Kerri Johnson at  Membership sign-ups will be available at the event!
