Here at bizperc, we believe that entrepreneurs should be excited about coming to work.  Just look at us—we look forward to coming into our coworking space every day!  Why you ask? Simply put we get to interact with a wide array of forward-thinking entrepreneurs on a daily basis (and it doesn’t hurt that we have one of the best views of Kansas City, awesome WiFi, and free coffee provided by the Roasterie!). We fancy ourselves pretty lucky and we want you to experience it too!

We want to show you how Think Big Partners is innovating in the startup world.

Do You Love Waffles? Syrup? Entrepreneurship? One Week KC’s Startup Waffles is For You!

As Harry Caray Would say, “Hay, you like waffles, I know I sure do...Hay, if you were a waffle and you were starving would you eat yourself?”

But what does this have to do with entrepreneurship, startups or One Week KC?  It’s Startup Waffles. 

It’s time to rise and shine and smell the waffles, Kansas City!  If you’re a founder, hacker, investor or startup enthusiast, One Week KC and Think Big Partners has the event for you.
Like the Avengers, we are asking you to assemble Friday, June 22nd and tackle a challenge not meant for any mortal man or woman—it’s all-you-can-eat waffles! Startup Waffles was originally started by the StartupDigest co-founders Chris & Brendan to bring together founders and hackers for tasty breakfast and great conversation.  And now, Kansas City is on board.

So ready your tummies, gather your knife and fork, and bring your own syrup if you’d like (we’ll also have syrup on hand, but hey, we’re not going to tell you how to live your life) and join us at bizperc (1800 Baltimore) for a waffle feast of the ages.

Bottoms Up! Thirsty Thursday at bizperc

Bizpercers, are you a little thirsty? Lucky for you, it’s time for the monthly bizperc Member Happy Hour! Once a month, we show our appreciation to our members by hosting a 6^th floor cocktail party. This month’s much anticipated Happy Hour is on Thursday, May 24^th from 5:00-7:00pm.

Bring a couple brews and a few snacks and get to know your fellow coworkers on a different level. Expand your capacity for collaboration and network with the very entrepreneurs who share the same office space as you.

The April Happy Hour was an absolute blast—complete with fresh-baked cookies and bowling with remote-control cars! And this month, we’re expecting even more fun.

Entrepreneur Corner Spotlights 4 Startup Weekend Kansas City Companies During First Fridays

April’s Entrepreneur Corner was an undeniable success and this month's event is shaping up to be just as amazing. Each month we will feature a different startup company from the KC area, but this month we are featuring 4 different companies. What a coincidence...4 companies on May 4^th!


The 4 companies who will be showcased at Entrepreneur Corner all originated from Startup Weekend Kansas City:

Tuthopper is Startup Weekend’s big winner! Tuthopper teaches programming and system architecture through games. The app features a Code Dojo and fun game-play environment that will help kids learn coding through games.

April Showcase Brings May Entrepreneurs to bizperc

At bizperc, we’ve noticed a “coworking craze.”  Entrepreneurs love coming into our space to work with like-minded startups, accelerate with the Think Big Partners team and work in an inspiring and modern coworking space.

We’re changing the way businesses are built...and we want YOU to see it for yourself! 

On Thursday, April 12, 2012 Think Big Partners is hosting the bizperc Showcase and group tour from 4:00-5:30PM at 1800 Baltimore (starts on the 4th floor!) in the Crossroads District of Kansas City, Missouri. 

At the Showcase, you will have the chance to interactively tour Kansas City’s modern coworking space and business accelerator, get a behind-the-scenes look at the startup creation process, showcase your own entrepreneurial ventures and learn how Think Big Partners is changing the way businesses are built...and why.
