TEDxKC Blasts Off Tonight!
The buzz is in the air: tonight the TEDxKC conference will be in full swing at 6:00pm on the dot. During the event, attendees are invited to examine how radical collaboration, transparency and an open-source mind-set are shaping the world today. Tickets are (of course) sold out. But for those lucky ticket-holders, the TEDxKC conference will take place from 6-8:15pm at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

Marty Stanley: "I'm Geeky When It Comes to Learning Things"
Think Big Kansas City speaker, Marty Stanley opens up about her desire to share an entrepreneurial spirit, the importance of corporate culture, and being “geeky”.
The last word that I would use to describe Marty Stanley is “geeky”. As a modern, driven, energetic entrepreneur, to me, Marty shines with power, innovation, and fun—all of which are not “geeky” in my book. But according to Marty, she really is “geeky.”

"It's great to be around the Think Big energy. Events like TBKC are exhilarating!" - Marty Stanley |
“I’m geeky when it comes to learning things!” she says. “I attended the TED conference where I met a bunch of thought leaders. The opportunity to be around new thinking, new business, creativity and entrepreneurs...it’s like brain candy!”
Marty is back for more brain candy and will be speaking at the 2nd annual Think Big Kansas City conference on May 24, 2011 at the Kansas City Convention Center. As President of Dynamic Dialog, Inc., Marty has taken her experiences in the business world and used them to help others. She is an author, professional speaker, facilitator and executive coach whose goal is to help leaders define success.
“Everything I’ve ever done has been a startup or a reinvention of an organization,” she says. “Now I can help others so that people can keep up with the changing world. I understand where the small business owner is coming from and I know what it takes to make a difference in business.”
Marty Stanley is ready to share her knowledge with all attendees of Think Big Kansas City. Covering the topic of corporate culture, Marty will discuss two of the five steps toward developing a successful corporate culture and will use many Kansas City businesses and organizations, including the KC ballet, as examples. Upon completion of her presentation, Marty hopes that the audience leaves with hope and optimism about their businesses and something new to implement within their companies to make a difference.
To attend Marty Stanley’s presentation and Think Big Kansas City, register here. We look forward to what else Marty has to say about corporate culture, brain candy, being geeky, and of course, how she thinks big!
